The CenterPointe Club
The 26,000 square-foot multi-purpose community center at Playa Vista, called the CenterPointe Club, is the state-of-the-art community center for Playa Vista residents. All Playa Vista homeowners are automatically members of the CenterPointe Club. The Frank Lloyd Wright inspired community center features two swimming pools, a huge outdoor sundeck, movie screening room, fitness facilities, business center, a boardroom, a game room, a reading room, and even a Resident Services Coordinator to assist the members.
 
Playa Vista Parks
Approximately 70 percent of the original Playa Vista Master Plan site, more than 750 acres, is devoted to parks and open space. Playa Vista is proposed to have 23 active community public parks, including the Concert Park, Longwood Park, Chess Park, and many more. These public parks offer activities ranging from children's play, dog recreation, picnics and barbecues to jogging, baseball, soccer, basketball, volleyball and competitive gardening.
 
Los Angeles Public Library @ Playa Vista
Playa Vista boasts of its own Los Angeles Public Library Branch, next to the CenterPointe Club. The library offers free access to computer workstations which are connected to the Library's information network. The branch also has the Grandparents and Books (GAB) program - A grandparent is available in the library to read to children.
